About the Company

We are the digital solution for two wheeler services. GreesyHands is a cross platform which connects the Hyperlocal Service providers (Certified and Local) to the customers directly. Greesyhands application provides customers to choose their service provider according to requirements and be able to pay online and offline. Greesyhands also provides one click breakdown assistance with target SLA less then 30 minutes.

How did you come up with the title “Gressy Hands”?

The title was given by one of my friend and it just came up by chance. We were talking about vehicles and auto-world and trying to put some name which can relate to the company and suddenly my friend said greesy and we added hands to it. It is misspelled version of “Grease”

 What was the first moment when you thought to start a Business?

I was in my final year when I thought we could have some startup for maintaintaing the vehicles in good condition which solves any kind of problems. But at that time I had no plans. Then I started working and after some months I realize that this needs to be scaled business. But issue was with the team, I didn’t have anyone who could be there with me in initial days.

What is your core product or service?

We provide two wheeler service at your door step. We provide easy booking with multiple vendors in and around the city. We provide the pick up and drop and assurance from our side for servicing.

Why only two wheelers?

In India, still a four wheeler is a luxury so we wanted something which solves most of the people’s problem.

Every business has a up/down moment. Do you want to share anything special with us?

I have very good story for this. When I got the idea and put some basic plans at that time I didn’t have much knowledge about it. So I started involving my friends to in my team but whoever came he/she left after sometime. I didn’t knew what’s happening and I was about to quit. Suddenly I met one person and I found CTO in my team who got interested in idea and started working but still the issue was to handle marketing and operation and then I got my another co-founder (CMO) and we made the startup live.

What are the major benefit of getting the vehicles serviced at “Gressy Hands” rather than at the conventional service center?

There are two benefits that I see.

First: –  You get hassle free pick up and drop from your location any time. You can book anytime in advance or on same date, you dont need to go to service center and ask “abhi ho jayega kya? ”

Second: -The quality we maintain. We check all vehicles before coming to service center and before delivering it to the customers. This keeps tight hand on the merchant side, so there are very less chances to get complains.

Just like many of us, we don’t leave our vehicle out of our sight when it’s being serviced. How would you make the clients trust you?

The quality we maintain with the vehicle servicing and the warranty after service. We don’t take money till the customer is satisfied and feels the difference in driving before and after servicing the vehicle. We also make system very transparent by confirming with the customer for changing spare parts if needed, so customer can take decision whether they need to change or not.

What are your strategies for motivating people to use your app and the new modern vehicle service?

We ensure that we reach out to more people. But in this industry you can make people use your app/service when you provide the good service around them.

When do you plan to scale up?

We studied some cities very closely and saw that some cities have exceptional power of scaling up. So we can definitely plan our services in other big cities. We want to improve upon technology and want to make process very smooth. Also we want to expand to most of the cities so most people can take the advantage of ou service.

Who is your mentor or role model?

I don’t have any mentor as such but whenever I feel low I read about VSS (PAYTM), and Ritesh(OYO)

What is the definition of success for you? How do you see yourself?

Customer satisfaction +Team happiness+ merchant profit

 What are your views on competitors?

Competition make us strong, it shows us our negative points and gives a chance to work on it.

What do you think about your company culture?

We have best company culture. We follow one simple rule: Happy Team = Happy Customers. My team is the pillar of this success story which we are building.
