About the Company
Mytripkarma is a collaborative application that simplifies online travel by bringing all aspects, right from discussions to post trip sharing, in one app. It removes the need to browse multiple sites and apps for different things and minimizes discussions. It is the virtual equivalent of getting everyone in one room with a big screen showing global content, best deals from OTA’s, discussing itineraries, managing expenses, making bookings and recording and sharing of in-trip experiences.
What was the first moment when you thought to start a Business?
While working in online travel b2b space, we noticed a huge gap. We decided to create a POC of this and ran it, got feedback from 75 users and found it working for them. That was the moment we can launch it separately and it has a huge potential.
What is your core product or service?
The first product in the world which is truly social in online Travel Space.
What is the most exciting thing related to your business?
The user does not have to change the website or chat app he has been using. He/she can use the same content via Mytripkarma and keeps everything from a central place. Imagine someone asking you details about your trip 5 years later and just by a single click you reshare the trip details/photo/check-in/budget with them. Then they copy it change the dates and they are good to go using the same travel plan!
What is your roadmap and Goal for upcoming years?
First 3 years we want to reach 100,00 Users, by the 5-year end we want to reach 1M users.
Who is your mentor or role model?
Saurabh Mehta and Mr. Vinay Gupta are our mentors. Guy Kawasaki is my role model
What is the definition of success for you? How do you see yourself?
Success if to see your product doing positive and seeing daily 40% of traction!
What are your views on competitors?
Mytripkarma is a 1st of its kind app that captures the complete trip experience. The nearest matches are the trip planning apps or booking apps.
What do you think about your company culture?
We are working on a lean startup model. We have great company culture and flexi times. The co-founders have been working together for 10 years. We are a team of 7 and more like family.

Any other suggestions or tips?
Market study before running your product POC is the most important thing. Second would be to identify the right revenue channels and third would be to PITCH correctly to your investors.
