WHAT WAS THE FIRST MOMENT WHEN YOU THOUGHT TO START A BUSINESS?
Lot of colleagues in my earlier company used to complain about : the delay in approval decisions (leave approvals, payslips, purchase approvals, other business critical decisions, asset purchases) and lack of visibility in the ownerships on whom to approach.
ERP solution (or) traditional workflow managements solutions cumbersome to implement in SMB(s) like us, I thought thats the pain point to be addressed elegantly.
Upon research by talking to lot of business units from traditional industries, I noticed lot of day to day activities are running in – paper forms, manual intimations, no audibility, non-cloud solutions, no mobile visibility/access.
Thats when I decided to create a company around – process automation solutions in SMB and Enterprise

As each business’s core processes are unique to themselves, so each customer wanted to design the processes from scratch. That too, he wanted to us to hand hold and design the solution for him. Customers are also not very clear in their processes, it ate lot of our time in creating and convincing them to use it. This continuous customer interaction helped us in building the unique feature of – build in market place with process apps.

WHAT IS THE MOST EXCITING THING RELATED WITH YOUR BUSINESS?
We could garner around 100 customers in 100 days after our first production quality solution. Its an achievement for the SaaS based company We were declared as the WINNER and got selected for incubation & funding from AmritaTBI out of 1000 (thousand) companies who attended to the event.
WHAT IS YOUR ROADMAP AND GOAL FOR UPCOMING YEARS?
We wanted to be #1 process automation company in addressing all the SMB & Enterprise companies. Our goal is to eliminate the paper from SMB companies. Completely eliminate paper based communication, and recording of – orders, requests, proposals etc through paper and bring audibility.

I admire Steve Jobs & Mikkel Svane (Zendesk) for his aesthetic SaaS customer support platform.
WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF SUCCESS FOR YOU? HOW DO YOU SEE YOURSELF?
If Bizbee can make the SMB companies to run the business without paper (and with 100% audibility), bring 100% efficiency in people and process. Also, we are indirectly helping the eco-friendly environment by minimizing the paper usage.
WHAT ARE YOUR VIEWS ON COMPETITORS?
Competition is good, it brings best in you. Until you stick to, your USP with top most customer support, your customers are sticked to you.

Getting out of highly paid job and comfort zone.

Ownership. Everybody in the company has ownership on something or the other. Ownership always brings responsibility and also efficiency.

Don’t start it until you find a pain point to solve.
