What was the first moment when you thought to start a Business?
It was way back in 2010 while studying MBA, my three classmates and I decided to opt out of placements and instead decided to start up on our own, a venture which is now called Health Fiesta. As for the startup, I am now with, it is called Urban Trippie and is started with my husband when he approached me thinking together we could bring in our respective skill sets, he that of product and me of marketing and sales.
Every business has an up/down moment. Do you want to share anything special with us?
Health Fiesta had a slow and steady growth..probably the biggest up was when we peaked business one year just to lose it the next year and build it again..renewals and not able to retain clients are one of the biggest challenges. As for Urban Trippie, a mobile application that we launched in Blore in Dec 2016, the biggest low has been in getting downloads/installs and a considerable amount of users.

What is the definition of success for you? How do you see yourself?
Success to me is about having immense faith and belief in yourself and in what you do. It is about being fearless and courageous in the pursuit of what makes you feel victorious and a winner in the end. For me, It is about learning always and doing things that you feared doing or thought you couldn’t do ever.
What are your views on competitors?
Competitors are Little Black Book and Thrillophila. Both are successes in their own ways. But Urban Trippie is more specific in its verticals and is curated database of the best places that the city has to offer.
The biggest risk you have ever taken?
Getting married to a man who had quit his job, had little money and wanted to start up. Adding to that, becoming his co- founder eventually, bootstrapping and launching Urban Trippie.
What do you think about your company culture?
We are just three of us as of now. We complement each other well as a team, each possessing qualities and skills that the other lacks. Communication is consistent and transparent.
